Many of you, hearing "The Neverending Story", will think of the science fiction movie of the 1980s. Few people know, however, that in the first edition of the novel, German writer Michael Ende imagined dipping his pen into two different colored inks: aqua green for the kingdom of Fantàsia and ruby red for the world of human s. In the pages of his novel the two colors alternate, accompanying us on a fantastic 26 chapter -long journey , each chapter opening with an elaborate letter. The artistic letters illustrated by Roswitha Quadflieg and the 2 colors, aqua green and ruby red, were the inspiration for the room furnishings.
