The Big Bench trail



You can get there on foot, by bike or by car!


Photo shoot time! The first bench was created in 2010 by Chris Bangle in Clavesana, and now there are many benches placed in amazing locations around the area. Enjoy looking at the world from a child’s eye!

Tour of Piazza and Breo



Tour on foot and with the funicular railway!


Piazza is the highest point in Mondovi. Visit the churches, museums and enjoy the breath-taking views from the Belvedere gardens. Then take the funicular down to Breo for a stroll in the alleys and some shopping!

Via del Sale



40 minutes away by car!


A spectacular ex-military dirt road that connects the Piedmontese and French Alps to the Ligurian Sea. Come and see some breath-taking views and look out for the 2600 different type of botanical species typical of the area.

Santuario of Vicoforte



You can get there on foot, by bike or by car!


A masterpiece of the Piedmontese Baroque style, the Santuario is a monumental church that is a must see for its architecture and sheer beauty famed for its frescoes and for having the largest elliptical dome in the world.

Landandé trail



On foot or by bike!


There are over 55 km of routes mapped out around the area, suitable for all ages and for all seasons of the year. Either walk or e-bike, and enjoy spending time in nature.

The Bossea and Dossi caves



30 minutes away by car!


Enjoy a day visiting 2 nearby caves: the Bossea and the Dossi. The first is ranked as Italy’s most colorful, and the second is famous for its grandeur and underground lakes. 



Royal residences



Get there by car or train!


A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the 22 royal residences bear witness to a historical period that saw Turin and Piedmont as the protagonists of European history.

Balloon flight



10 minutes by car!


The most important international gathering of hot air balloons in Italy takes place in Mondovì on January 6 of each year. It is no coincidence that Mondovì is the "Italian capital" of balloon flights. Ready to try?

Turin, the capital of Piedmont, is known for its castles, Baroque buildings, grandiose squares, churches and one-of-a-kind museums: home to the Fiat Museum, Lavazza coffee, the National Cinema Museum and The Egyptian Museum.

Wines and cheeses

If you like wine and great cheese, you have arrived in heaven! This area is famous for its Castelmagno, Raschera and Toma DOP cheese, to be enjoyed while sipping a world class wine such as Barolo, Dogliani and Alta Langa.
